Small Grants for CTN Resilience & Biosecurity

As part of the Growing Together programme, The Tree Council, together with partners M&G and Defra, are delighted to offer a range of small grants to support organisations to set up new community tree nurseries, existing community tree nurseries to develop their infrastructure and more established CTNs to reach out to support others.

Grants to set up a new CTN

To support you in setting up your CTN you will receive:

  • Visits from the team to help you plan and set up your CTN
  • Tailored resources and training
  • A grant of up to £700 to buy initial resources

Grants to develop an existing CTN

Funding available
A limited number of grants of between £150 – £700 are available per existing CTN and/or a free biosecurity starter kit

Planting locations
CTNs from across the UK in either England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland are invited to apply
