Buckinghamshire Tree Warden Network was one of the first established in the country, in 1991. Since them, it has grown to a network of over 120 tree wardens, spread over 85 parishes across Buckinghamshire.
The Tree Wardens in Buckinghamshire carry out a range of activities in their parish including tree planting, liasing with District Council Tree Officers, highlighting threatened trees, meeting with Councillors, commenting on planning applications, surveying & carrying out management on trees. The Tree Wardens receive a local newsletter three times a year as well as support and advice from the co-ordinator.
