The Tree Council works in partnership with communities, organisations and government to make trees matter to everyone. We are a registered charity and rely on donations to carry out our work, which includes running the annual community action programme that includes Seed Gathering Season, National Tree Week and Walk in the Woods month, supporting the groups organising local events.
We also co-ordinate and manage our national 8000 strong volunteer Tree Warden Scheme, fundraise and distribute grants for tree, bluebell, wild flower and hedge planting and work with our partners on an agenda for change that includes the Tree Care Campaign, the Green Monument Campaign and the Hedge Tree Campaign.
By making a donation to The Tree Council, you can make even more difference for trees and communities in towns and countryside throughout this country. Thank you for your support.
How your money helps us:
- £10 could provide 10 little trees for little hands to plant
- £15 could pay for free telephone advice on our infoline
- £50 could train a volunteer to tell their ash from their elder
- £100 could become a green oasis in a school or community
