The Trust is unique in being the only organisation concerned with all aspects of the environment in Wiltshire. We are one of the UK's most successful nature conservation charities.
Since the Trust's formation in 1963 out of concern for the colony of Purple Emperor butterflies in Blackmoor Copse, we have created 37 wildlife havens, effectively lobbied local and national government and dramatically reduced waste in Wiltshire.
