Description:
We are a small but decidedly friendly group of people, who take an interest in the wood. We look after the day-to-day maintenance of the wood by removing litter, keeping the paths and steps clear and carrying out repairs to bridges and boardwalks.
We also keep an eye out for any problems with the trees that may need the support from the professionals of the wood’s owners, Cheshire Wildlife Trust.
The group’s meetings are usually held on the second Monday of each month in the Scout Hall on Owley Wood Road. They are extremely informal affairs when we have a chat and decide what and when we will be doing next in the wood.
