  • Description: Walsall’s Urban Forestry Section is responsible for the delivery of a robust and innovative tree management programme. It prides itself on its inclusivity and has a burgeoning and engaged Tree Warden network that continues to set the objectives for Tree Wardening in the urban environment. In 2010 the Urban Forestry section was recognised for it work in this sector when it won second place in the national “Excellence in Urban Forestry” award, scoring very highly in the community engagement section.
